I am a software engineer in Bing, Microsoft. I graduated with a PhD degree under the advise of Prof. Junghoo Cho from the department of Computer Science, University of California, Los Angeles. Before coming to Los Angeles, I got a Master degree from the department of Computer Science and Engineeing, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Beside, I also got a Bachelor degree from the department of Information Engineering in the same university.

My current work is on improving relevance of search engine query results. My research work in graduate studies was in the area of Web data management, mining, and personalization (in particular Weblog, Web2.0, RSS data) and content based image retrieval in P2P networks. Other than these two major areas, I have also explored some interesting projects related to: information propagation in blogosphere, usage analysis of concurrent document authoring, and ddos analysis ofbittorrent network.
